Noel May has over 40 years experience as an accountant and more than 30 years as a business owner.

 

Noel is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

I am a business advisor, dealing primarily with planning, direction and strategy matters. I’ll spend time with you to gain a full understanding of your current business and why you are doing it all; what you want out of life. One of the few upsides of being around for a while is that you gain a lot of experience with different clients in different industries. I can give you a considered second opinion on all matters, both financial and commercial.

I focus on providing accounting and business management advice. I try to get my clients to adopt some regular reporting and analysis of their results, in order to monitor their own progress and success. Planning for all aspects of your business is essential. I have a proven track record in assisting businesses to plan and manage their future, growth and expansion.

I’ve had extensive experience in the area of franchising, advising both franchisors and franchisees.  I’ve developed and advised on many franchise systems, established benchmarking and standard accounting systems, structured and performed pre-acceptance business acumen/viability tests on franchisees and advised on efficient taxation models. I’ve counselled franchisees on the merits of particular franchise investments, installed accounting systems and performance monitoring measures, as well at attended to the associated ASIC and ATO statutory requirements.

 

One of the roles I enjoy the most is the area of Business Succession and Exit Strategies, helping business owners maximize their payout when exiting their business.  You can control the succession process rather than have it control you.  I’ll help you with planning the exit, maximising the business worth before a sale, negotiations if needs be, devising shareholder agreements, advising on the correct business structures, minimising the tax effect and preparing finance submissions and insurance cover to make sure the exit happens.

Amanda Klye became a partner of the firm in 2016 after successfully building the firm with Noel over 6 years. 

​Amanda has over 13 years’ experience as a tax advisor, small business advisor and has strong bookkeeping skills. She has assisted many clients set up their businesses and supported them as they focus on growing them.  As with the rest of our team, she is proficient in all things related to investment properties and she particularly enjoys working on self-managed superannuation funds.

Amanda started out as a qualified bookkeeper, then completed her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) at RMIT University with Distinction and is now a fully qualified CPA after completing her final exams achieving a High Distinction in Tax law.

Amanda’s experience, maturity and professionalism, equips her well to interpret clients’ needs, devise appropriate solutions and deliver the right results. She prides herself on exceeding client expectations, whether it is in the timeliness of delivery on projects or pro-actively offering specialist advice when the situation requires. She has a genuine care and interest in each of her clients.

Ryan has over 9 years experience as an accountant having worked for chartered accounting firms developing an understanding of business, compliance and client service. As a result, his knowledge and product delivery is of the highest standard.

 

Ryan’s educational experience includes completing a Bachelor of Science from Monash University along with a Post Graduate Diploma of Accounting from Monash University. Ryan has also completed the CPA program and was accepted into the CPA organisation in July 2018 receiving a high distinction in tax law.

Alice Ge has over 10 years’ experience as an accountant. She graduated from the University of Sydney and completed a Master of Commerce in Accounting.

Alice offers exceptional, timely, specialised and personal attention whether she’s acting as a taxation and business advisor, being responsible for overall tax compliance, or whether she’s planning, structuring and optimising a client’s tax position within the tax legislation.

She specialises in providing taxation services to individuals and small and medium enterprises, as well as high net worth individuals. She works with a diverse range of individuals in industries including manufacturing, retail and property construction.

Cathy has over 10 years’ experience working as an administrator in public accounting practices.  She has completed a Certificate IV in Accounting and has recently completed an individual tax return preparation course.

 

With extensive experience in ASIC corporate administration, Cathy heads up the Corporate Secretarial division helping our clients with company, trust and business name registrations as well as ASIC register management.

 

Cathy also provides assistance to the accountants with the preparation of individual tax returns and is always happy to help our clients where required.

Alexandra is the first point of contact to our clients’ issuing emails on behalf of senior staff and facilitating the on boarding of new clients.

Roschelle brings with her a wealth of technical skills to ensure accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting, a high level of systems knowledge and analytical skills, and has great ability to streamline processes.

Not only is she our XERO enthusiast but couples her bookkeeping skills with her knowledge of communications and collaboration apps to devise cloud-based solutions to improve your bookkeeping efficiency so you spend less time preparing your accounts and more time doing things you love.
